LAN recibe su primer B787-8 - LAN receive your first B787-8

Llega a Sudamérica el avión más moderno del mundo.

El pasado sábado primero de septiembre la aerolínea LAN se ha ganado un lugar más en la historia de la aviación latinoamericana, al llegar cerca de las 10 de la mañana a Santiago de Chile el primer B787-8 de la compañía, de esta manera LAN se convierte

en el primer operador occidental y Latinoamericano del Dreamliner.

Este avión esta destinado a reemplazar la flota B767-300ER que posee la compañía y la versión B787-9 a los A340-300. Las primeras rutas serán hacia Buenos Aires y Lima para la familiarización de las tripulaciones con el nuevo modelo,  luego pasarán a operar los vuelos entre SCL-MAD y SCL-LAX.

Comes to South America the most modern aircraft in the world.

On Saturday September first LAN Airlines has earned a place in the history of Latin American aviation, arriving at about 10 am to Santiago de Chile the first B787-8 from the company, so LAN  becomes the first Dreamliner operator in Occidental and Latin American.

This aircraft is destined to replace the B767-300ER fleet owned by the company and the version B787-9 to the A340-300. The first route will be to Buenos Aires and Lima to familiarize crews with the new model, then pass to operate flights between SCL and SCL-MAD-LAX.
